This playlist came together organically, almost as a contrast to winter. It is a selection of songs that speak about love from different perspectives, guided by our personal taste and by the rhythms of a country that has deeply influenced the way we listen to music and also our cooking.
As with the first list, different eras and sensibilities coexist. Classics and contemporary projects appear naturally. The Cure, Soft Cell, Peter Green, Bar Italia, Dry Cleaning, who have just released an excellent new album, and Arctic Monkeys, whose debut record, one of our favourites, has just turned twenty, are part of this selection.
